Position: Software Design Engineer

What: Piraeus Consulting, a Beyondsoft company, is looking for a talented SDE to build out our team. We are looking for a bright, motivated engineer with excellent communication skills, not to mention a strong desire to learn and grow in the technical consulting field. You’ll be supporting high-level clients, and also partnering with various internal consulting teams, so the best candidates are those who are great at juggling!
Our clients work in fast-paced environments, so we need team members who are innovative and can come to the table with their own recommendations and technical skills. If something isn’t working, you’ll need to dive in to identify the root cause of the problem and design a solution. The ability to make timely decisions, document your work, and provide clear communication to team members and stakeholders alike, are critical. Responsibilities:
-Utilize technical specifications to design, build, and implement your code
-Develop software programs, applications, and/or network products
-Proactively identify issues, and design and coordinate solutions
-Contribute to the development of design processes and methodologies
-Produce high quality code and documentation that is functional and reusable
-Communicate regularly with fellow service engineers, stakeholders, and client teams
Requirements:
-Hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, and SQL
-Experience working with SQL Server and complex SQL queries
-Proven track record of developing applications
-Service-oriented with operations/support experience
-Experience with real-time data analytics and reporting
-Self-motivated, team player
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
-Previous consulting experience
-Experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
-Cloud computing experience (Bing, Azure, O365) and/or UX/UI experience
-Experience in Git, AJAX, Java Script, JQuery, or knockout.js, etc.
