Responsibilities:
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will be working on our open source iOS SDK, which runs on hundreds of millions of devices across thousands of apps.
Things you will be working on
* Collaborating with other mobile engineers and our platform team to design new features
* Building these features on iOS, as well as on other third party development frameworks
* Making sure our SDKs conform to industry best-practices, and design patterns
* Researching how to make our SDKs more reliable, faster, and better looking
Requirements:
* 4-6 years programming experience, with at least 3 years experience with iOS
* BA/BS degree in computer science or related field (additional 2 years relevant work experience in lieu of degree)
* Deep iOS development experience and understanding.
* Experience with consuming a variety of web APIs
* Strong grasp of Objective-C, Cocoa, Core Data, UIKit
* A self-driven desire to be an expert on iOS, including staying up to speed on the latest changes and improvements to iOS
* Self-directed, with a sense of urgency, and a bias for action and data based decision making
* Close attention to detail and commitment to building high quality products
* The ability and desire to collaborate closely with other developers and members of the Apptentive team. The belief that diverse teams do better work
* Passion about the possibilities of mobile, the magic of great customer experiences, and having fun while working hard
* A willingness to work directly with customers to investigate and resolve issues, gather product feedback, and learn about new use cases and features
* Experience with writing unit tests and automated UI tests
* You’ve successfully shipped and maintained an app with customers on the Google Play or iTunes stores
* You have your own apps on the App Store
* Experience developing with React Native
* Expert experience with Java development
* Experience with Android development
* Experience using git for source code management
* Experience with third party development frameworks such as Titanium, Cordova, Xamarin, or Unity
* Experience with Javascript, C#, Swift, Ruby, and/or Python
* Experience with API design and/or contributing to SDKs or libraries used by other developers
* Experience working in a startup environment
* Eagerness to learn about new technologies and experiment with new approaches to solving problems
