Position: Software Development Manager

What: We are looking for a smart and passionate development manager to lead and grow the Zillow Mobile Infrastructure team of four developers. A small team means you’ll also be writing code side by side with your developers!
With more than 70% of our traffic occurring on a mobile device, there is no shortage of technical challenges and opportunities to grow our mobile infrastructure.

Own and drive end-to-end architectural designs.
Responsibilities:
Build backend infrastructure that supports more than eight iOS and Android apps and more than 10 different different internal and consumer facing systems.
Write code, review pull requests, run sprint planning, and own the direction of the team.
Mentor smart and highly motivated developers
Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline required
At least 5 years of development experience
At least 1 year of experience managing a development team.
Experience solving performance and scalability problems
Experience with Java is a plus
Experience in web development is a plus
Passion for learning and rapid iteration
