Position: Front-end Web Developer

What: We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to support Fuse IQ and our clients’ evolution on the web. Make a DIFFERENCE with our nonprofit clients by helping them achieve their mission leveraging web technologies. Yes, you’ll be building websites but much more than that! You’ll be leading the charge on implementing front-end web technologies in content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress, as well as spearheading our efforts in other technologies – for instance, the latest JavaScript frameworks.
Responsibilties:
– Responsive theming of Drupal and WordPress websites
– Transform design and user interface requirements into responsive, functional applications
– Maintain and troubleshoot existing client sites
– Work with project and account managers on project specifications and time estimates
– Work collaboratively as a team to find solutions to various projects and processes (i.e. development approach, product development, etc.) and contribute ideas and efforts toward those efforts
– Research, explore, and implement emerging web technologies
– BE a front-end expert for our company and clients
Requirments:
– A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
– Minimum 3 years web development experience
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Excellent, proactive communication skills
– Self-directed, committed learner
– Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and work independently
– Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
– Strong and effective time management
– Passionate about technology
– Mobile responsive front-end development
– Expert in HTML, CSS (particularly HTML5 and CSS3)
– Expert in JavaScript, JQuery
– Experience in Drupal, WordPress, or other established content management system
– Familiarity with SASS or other CSS preprocessor
– Experience using a version control system such as (Git) in a multi-developer environment
– Twig, Symfony
– Experience with CRM systems such as CiviCRM and Salesforce
– Knowledgeable in PHP and LAMP stack technologies
– Knowledgeable of relational databases such as MySQL
– Mobile App development
– Experience working in a client-services environment
