True Brands™ is seeking a full time graphic/package designer to join our creative team in Seattle, WA. Our multi-brand company brings a unique opportunity for designers to work with multiple brands and styles everyday. This Graphic Designer’s primary focus will be the design, layout, and spec of product packaging for all product categories. Responsibilities will also include a wide variety of design projects for both print and web including catalogs, promotional emails, web banners, trade show displays, web pages, etc.
The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, all while staying highly organized & extremely detail-oriented. We want an innovative thinker with strong conceptual and creative skills, as well as someone who can keep up with current design trends.
Responsibilities:
• Concept, design, and produce print-ready product packaging files.
• Present design solutions for new packaging formats and product categories
• Collaborate with product/design team to design and develop solutions for our multi-brand strategy
• Develop marketing materials including (but not limited to) catalogs, promotional emails, web banners, trade show displays, web pages, etc.
• Assist with design of paper goods & products
• Assist with the art direction and styling of product photo shoots
• Create assets for point-of-sale including client presentations, planograms, in-store display graphics, and packaging mock-ups
• Play an active role in design reviews and critiques
• Maintain a comprehensive physical overview of all current and future packaging formats in the designated space provided
• Other tasks as necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from 4-Year University or trade school equivalent
• Must be a master of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Keen sense of visual design including composition, layout, information hierarchy, typography, and color
• Ability to collaborate with team members in a fast paced, fun environment
• Must have excellent time management and communication skills
• Must be resourceful, creative, detail-orientated, and a problem solver
• Be open to new ideas and influences, and able to react to new ideas and changing trends
• Possess the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of photography and photo-editing
• Technical knowledge of print production
• Experience with HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript is a plus
• Experience/interest in product design a plus
• Experience with die line creation
• Experience working with Mailchimp is a plus
