What: Whitepages Pro, the B2B SaaS business unit of Whitepages, is looking for an experienced inbound marketing manager and creative problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment to advance all conversion of commercial users on Whitepages commercial properties, an expansive program inside Whitepages internally known as “Upsell”. With Whitepages consumer properties receiving 55 million unique visitors a month and thousands of businesses using those properties, the B2B scale is massive across multiple funnels. These funnels will also be extended with Pro marketing and product to be fed from other traffic sources in parallel to the consumer properties.
The ideal candidate will have program management, analytics, testing, great instinct, and storytelling skills. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the narrative — in a measurable way, around moving roughly 10% of Whitepages consumer site traffic into paid SaaS subscriptions and/or marketing qualified leads for Pro Sales. You’ll be empowered to drive change from the highest levels of marketing leadership.
This role is inherently cross-functional — you will work closely with Pro product management, design, and engineering along with the consumer experience and executive teams to iterate and optimize on funnel conversion. You will be part of a small, agile growth team which will proactively identify and resolve strategic issues, as well as secure and schedule the resources and to deliver to the program. You’ll also have a critical charter to architect and drive the analytics implementation and framework.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to own and identify operational and customer conversion requirements, and impact of projects and programs across Whitepages consumer and Pro (pro.whitepages.com) properties
Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and management across SaaS funnels; including identifying potential bottlenecks, overlapping work areas or other project risks
Engage with Pro product management to gather requirements, conceive and constantly test new funnel features
Develop new growth hypothesis and experiment framework, implement, measure and iterate quickly
Be comfortable analyzing data from multiple sources to figure out what is or is not working
Drive continued operational and automation improvements to improve operational efficiency
Develop relationships with technical and non-technical teams across Whitepages consumer properties and Whitepages Pro
Requirements:
2+ years’ experience in a related online marketing, data mining or marketing analyst role
Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and basic SQL Skills
Understanding of A/B Testing, Cohort Analysis, Funnel Analysis, Segmentation Analysis
Familiarity with HTML & CSS code
Ability to multi-task and prioritize/complete projects in a timely manner
Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
Extra points if you have:
4+ years’ experience in a related online marketing, data mining or marketing analyst role with project management skills
Superior Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and basic SQL Skills
Familiarity with web based language and testing platforms
Ability to multi-task and prioritize/complete projects in a timely manner
Superior verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
Comfortable with hands-on involvement with data retrieval, manipulation, analysis and insight generation using SQL
